My heart is in a puddle
I fear I might drown

The drain, my eyes
Work unhealthily slow

Till it garners
A torque so brute

That breaks my dam
flooding uncontrolled

I rebuild
And rebuild.

Wondering when I'll learn

To get the drains running
And stop my dams from crumbling.

In an attempt to make people feel more at home, everyone chooses a place to live for the rest of their lives. I chose poem.
