10 Things American Parents Should Know About 'Anne With an E' or ...

I like to imagine my thoughts as a river, flowing continuously. Never stopping.

Sometimes, it splits into tributaries of words, right into the ocean of this world.

However, I am fortunately advantaged to direct the channel of its course. It is within my control to choose which tributaries enter the sea and how.

Constricting it would only end up in devastating floods of bottled and unchecked emotions.

Do I let my river get poisoned and polluted only to risk myself and all those at the receiving end of the ocean?

Or do I carefully regulate what goes into the waters and what has to be removed for it to
Ubiquitously flourish and grow as it moves!

Completely suffocate or carefully administrate?

After all, the power of thoughts and the scope of imagination are beautiful friends that provide company during the loneliest of times.
To keep them positive and uncomplaining is in our very own hands.

Ps. I have been watching "Anne with an e" on Netflix and was super inspired to write.
To feel and express myself without having the need to be obliged of having to please others.
If I cater to anyone else's interests, channeling my energy for another's amusement, then, I am simply the worst betrayer of myself.

If I cannot be true to myself then what is the use of all this? Where is the point?

I rather live freely than be caged and gawked at.
